Takeshi/Utsukushigahara
Utsukushigahara Open-Air Museum
An open-air art museum on the east side of the Utsukushigahara Highlands, at an elevation of 2,000 m.
Roughly 350 pieces of modern sculpture by both native and international artists are normally on display on the 13-hectare (32-acre) grounds.
There are also indoor exhibitions such as a pictorial art museum, a light museum, and a children’s museum, so you can enjoy a variety of modern art.
You can make use of the adjoining Restaurant Compote, Restaurant Asanoha, and shopping mall without entering the museum.
