Shinano Kokubunji
Shinano Kokubunji was constructed about 1,300 years ago.
As the oldest remaining pagoda at any of the Kokubunji Temples in Japan, the three-storied pagoda in the precincts is designated an important cultural property. The “Somin Shorai charms” made available during the Yokadoennichi Fair on January 7th and 8th are famous as good luck charms for those wishing for prosperity, good health, and tranquility for their families, and many people come from all over the country to get them.
